Residential building
Quito, Ecuador
Located on a 550 m2 triangular-shaped plot in the exclusive Bellavista neighborhood in the city of Quito, it houses 6 luxurious apartments equipped with the necessary conditions for its users to enjoy the highest quality of life.
The service area, elevator, emergency stairs and television room are designed in the back, which lacks a view, while the social and intimate environments are filled with light and life thanks to the large main facade that overlooks the center and south of the city as well as the eastern mountain range.
The exterior materials were carefully selected so that this small volume has a presence in time and space. Thus, local stone was chosen to clad the facade of the bedrooms. Large panes of glass in the social area allow the enjoyment of the excellent panoramic view and certain details were covered and filled with alucobond to accentuate the modernity of the building. Finally, the wood used in the parking lot doors contrasts and provides warmth to the perimeter.
The pleasant sensations experienced by users within the environments and the gratifying exterior visual impact have consolidated the Altea building as an icon of contemporary design in the city of Quito.
