Private home
Puembo, Ecuador
The house is immersed in the greenery of the gardens surrounding the simple front facade to give it a softening effect.
Exterior steps that bridge the street level with the social area surround a sculpture and lead the visitor to the main entrance. The house has another direct entrance for daily use from the parking lots.
All rooms are oriented to the east and built with large windows to fully enjoy the morning sun and the magnificent panoramic views.
The pool has a regulating effect on the temperature in the open covered space, as well as being the element that establishes the boundary between the artificial and the natural, since the state of the terrain remains unchanged.
The white luminous volume contrasts softly with the essence of the colors of nature; the sky, the trees and the water.
